Please join us for the month of October as we present Terry Richardson with her highly textured deconstructed, upcycled paper and book paintings. This October, Gray Sky Gallery presents Reclaimed: Beauty in the Forgotten, a solo exhibition by sculptor Terry Richardson that explores the transformative potential of materials often overlooked. On view from October 1–31, the exhibition invites viewers to see the world around them through a lens of renewal and possibility.
Richardson’s work centers on the quiet beauty of reclaimed and repurposed materials—revealing how discarded elements can be reimagined into organic, evocative forms. The sculptures draw inspiration from natural and cellular structures, suggesting growth, resilience, and the quiet architecture of life itself. Reclaimed challenges traditional ideas of value and aesthetics, encouraging viewers to reconsider their relationships with material and environment. Each piece stands as a statement of intentional renewal—where what is available becomes the foundation for something expressive and alive.
Opening reception will take place during Pioneer Square First Thursday Art Walk on October 2nd, from 5-8 pm at Gray Sky Gallery, 320 1st Ave S. Terry will be present if you are interested in meeting her and discussing her work.
